What Is Idle Wizard Tower?

Idle Wizard Tower is a fantasy-themed idle game where you build a magical spire that grows vertically as you progress. Starting with a humble study, you generate mana by clicking a glowing crystal orb or passively over time. Spend mana to add new floors to your tower, each with unique abilities and enchanting visual details. Research powerful spells, recruit familiars, and ascend to earn permanent wisdom bonuses for even faster rebuilds.

How It Works

Click or tap the orb to generate mana manually. Your tower floors automatically generate mana each second. Purchase new floors like libraries, alchemy labs, observatories, golem workshops, and enchanting rooms. Each floor type provides different bonuses, from raw mana generation to powerful multipliers. Unlock spells for massive temporary boosts, recruit familiars for passive bonuses, and ascend your tower when ready to start fresh with permanent wisdom multipliers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the game progress while I'm away?

Yes! Idle Wizard Tower calculates offline progress based on your current mana generation rate. When you return, you'll receive all the mana your tower produced while you were away, up to a maximum of 24 hours of accumulated progress.

What is the ascension system?

When your tower reaches 5 or more floors, you can choose to ascend. Your tower collapses into a magical seed, resetting your floors, mana, spells, and familiars. In return, you receive a permanent wisdom multiplier that increases all future mana generation, making each subsequent playthrough faster and more rewarding.

How many tower floors can I build?

There is no hard cap on tower floors. Each floor costs progressively more mana, but with wisdom multipliers from ascensions and powerful spell combinations, dedicated wizards can build towers dozens of floors tall. The tower viewport scrolls to accommodate your growing spire.
