Flag Frenzy is a free online flag identification quiz that challenges you to recognize as many country flags as possible under time pressure. There are 195 recognized countries, each with a unique flag — from the iconic Stars and Stripes to the lesser-known flags of Pacific island nations. With over 80 flags in the database across three difficulty tiers, every game is a fresh challenge.
Each round displays a country's flag as a large emoji. You choose the correct country name from 4 options. In Classic mode you have 60 seconds, Speed Round gives you just 30 seconds, and Marathon mode removes the timer but gives you only 3 lives. Flags get progressively harder as you answer more correctly — starting with iconic flags like the USA and Japan, then moving to trickier ones like Bahrain and Moldova.
There are 195 recognized sovereign countries in the world, each with its own unique national flag. This includes 193 UN member states plus 2 observer states. Many territories also have flags, bringing the total well over 250.
