Hold steady.
A dot on a beam. Gravity pulls it. Wind pushes it. The beam never stays level. Keep it from falling off.
Desktop: A/D or arrow keys
Mobile: Tap left or right half
Balance Point is a free online physics balancing game where you keep a dot from falling off a tilting platform. The platform is constantly affected by gravity, random wind gusts, and drift forces that make it inherently unstable. Most players survive 5-10 seconds on their first attempt, while experienced players can hold steady for 30 seconds or more.
Use arrow keys (or A/D) on desktop, or tap the left and right halves of the screen on mobile to tilt the platform. The dot follows real physics — it accelerates faster the farther it gets from center, creating an inverted pendulum effect. Wind gusts and drift forces increase over time, making the challenge progressively harder. Your score is simply how many seconds you hold steady before the dot falls off.
Balance Point is a free online physics game where you keep a dot balanced on a tilting platform. The platform is affected by gravity and random wind gusts, making it increasingly difficult to hold steady. You control the tilt using arrow keys on desktop or tapping left/right on mobile.
To get a high score, make small corrections rather than overcorrecting. Focus on keeping the dot near the center since the instability grows exponentially near the edges. Most players average 5-10 seconds; anything over 20 seconds is exceptional.
Balance Point tests a combination of reaction time, fine motor control, and anticipation rather than pure reaction speed. Unlike a simple reaction test, you need to predict the platform's movement and make preemptive corrections. It is more similar to real-world balance and coordination tasks.
