Ant Colony is a real-time simulation game where you build and manage an underground ant empire. Starting with a single queen and a handful of workers, you dig tunnels, assign specialized roles, construct chambers, and grow your population while surviving random events like rainstorms and rival ant attacks.
Click or tap below the surface to designate dig zones. Worker ants assigned as Diggers will excavate the earth, creating tunnels and chambers. Assign Foragers to gather food from the surface, Nurses to tend eggs and larvae, and Soldiers to defend against invaders. Build specialized chambers like Food Storage, Nurseries, and Barracks to boost your colony's efficiency and capacity.
Ant colonies are superorganisms where thousands of ants work together with specialized roles. A queen lays eggs while workers dig tunnels, forage for food, nurse larvae, and defend the colony. They communicate through pheromone trails and can build complex underground structures spanning meters deep.
Ants have specialized castes: the Queen reproduces, Workers dig tunnels and maintain the nest, Foragers search for food, Nurses care for eggs and larvae, and Soldiers defend against threats. In this simulator, you control how many ants are assigned to each role.
Ant colonies can extend surprisingly deep underground. Common garden ant nests reach 1-2 meters deep, while leafcutter ant colonies can extend over 8 meters deep with thousands of chambers. In this game, you can dig as deep as the screen allows!
